I joined the Slifer Designs team in the fall of 1999. I was born and raised in Boston, MA and grew up skiing in Northern Vermont. This love of skiing is what brought me out west to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.

During my college years I had the opportunity to work for Wellesley Design Consultants in Boston each summer. This work experience in the design field help me to cement the decision to complete a degree in Interior Design at CSU. After graduation I decided she needed to be closer to ski slopes and moved to the Vail Valley. I now happily share my love of the mountains with my husband and son.

Looking back at my sixteen years in the business, the road has been exciting with projects and clients in and out of state. The most exciting aspect of the job is that each new project is unique with difference set of parameters.

My design philosophy is not to have any rules. I believe that when you design you shouldn’t limit yourself to one style, but have an open mind - making spaces a little more eclectic. My main objective is to ensure that each project I complete reflects the client’s lifestyle and needs.

Over the years my projects have been published in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, Mountain Living & Luxe Magazines. In July, 2009, I had the  honor to be  selected as one of the Top 20 Under 40 in the Colorado design industry by Mountain Living magazine.
