Before & After: An Amazing Transformation

Update, Remodel, Redo:
One homeowner goes from before
to a very-stylish
after

Joanne Brutsch can work magic in any room: she loves the challenge of renovating existing spaces. In this Boulder remodel, she met with the clients and listened to what they envisioned. They wanted clean, modern lines and materials that were durable yet stylish—without being trendy. Joanne gave them exactly what they were looking in for in these three bathrooms: updated and simply stunning. Take a look at the before photos and see how the rooms were transformed, and brought into the 21st century. Our design staff knows there is little as rewarding as transforming a stylish space.

Before: 1980's style; clean but cluttered             After: Elegant, sleek and timeless.

It's hard to believe these are the same spaces, isn't it?

The vanity counter slab is from One Quartz Surfaces. We chose this material for its durability, consistent look and contemporary feel.

But let's talk about the 'jewelry' of the bathroom!

This sink is an artisan-crafted hand-hammered reclaimed copper in a brushed nickel finish by Native Trails.

The stunning finished guest bath.

Who wouldn't want to spend time in this amazing shower?

The shower features vein-cut polished field tile with iridescent silver glass tile decorative banding. Island Stone "Pebble" tile covers the floor–hand placed by the mason to achieve an organic, natural-looking layout. The shower also has honed limestone flooring in pistachio green. Artwork and bath accessories are from the Slifer Designs showroom.

One very lucky girl belongs to this bathroom.

Neon colors be gone! Words cannot describe this transformation: The vanity’s decorative backsplash tile is Marble “Bubbles" with One Quartz Surfaces counter slab in "Fresh Linens".

Modern and slightly feminine, perfect for a girl's bathroom.

Dated and drab to sophisticated. This eye-catching mirror proves there's more to a bath than a medicine cabinet! The Mosaic mirror framing is available through Slifer. All artwork and bath accessories from Slifer Designs Showroom.

The final bathroom that needed the help we brought along went from colorful to modern.
The re-invented shower is clean without being austere.

The shower wall showcases the gorgeous “Raj” marble in the popular chevron pattern from the Silk Road Collection by New Ravenna Tile. The shower enclosure is a frameless Euro glass.

You may never look at a toilet the same way again.

The pièce de résistance is the Toto Aquia Wall-hung Dual Flush with wall-mounted flush push plate.

We believe there is little as rewarding as transforming an outdated house into an elegant, stylish space–let us show you why we feel this way. Our entire Denver design staff is excited to take on your least-favorite room and make it into a lovely space. Whether you want to create a whole new space or desire a renovation, let the design professionals at Slifer Designs help transform your space… so you love coming home again.
