CASEY AND SMITH PROMOTED TO PROJECT MANAGERS
EDWARDS,
CO – Amy Lee Casey and Shayne Smith of Slifer Designs have
recently been promoted from interior designers to project managers.
Vice president
Yvonne Jacobs made the announcement in October.
“Both
Amy and Shayne have worked hard to earn their new positions,” Jacobs
said. “Our clients enjoy working with them and they produce beautiful
results,” Jacobs continued.
Casey began
with Slifer Designs in 2001 as a retail associate in the Edwards showroom. She
was then inspired to go back to school to become a designer and left Slifer
Designs to get an Interior Design degree from Parsons Design School in New
York. Upon returning to Slifer Designs in 2002, Casey was hired
as a Design Associate in the Interior Design department and in 2004 was promoted
to Interior Designer. Casey has recently completed luxury residences
in Bachelor Gulch, Aspen, Colorado Springs, Atlanta and Manhattan.
Smith began
with Slifer Designs in late 2005 upon relocating from New Orleans after Hurricane
Katrina. Having owned her own firm in New Orleans and subsequently working
a stint at the international firm Hirsch Bedner in Atlanta, Smith’s background
includes both hospitality and residential jobs. “Shayne’s
experience is a perfect fit for Slifer Designs,” continued Jacobs. Smith
is currently working on residences in Telluride, Aspen, Arrowhead and Bachelor
Gulch and on a new boutique hotel in Aspen – The Dancing Bear.
Slifer Designs
is an award winning international authority on luxury resort design and has
completed projects in all of Colorado’s high end resorts as well as Hawaii,
New England, Califorina wine country and in the resorts of Mexico. The
retail showroom is located in Edwards, next to Starbucks and is open daily. For
