They won Vail Valley Partnerships’ Platinum Service Award recently, which recognizes excellence in customer service. Whether finding custom-sized chairs for a petite homeowner or curating an interesting art collection, the Slifer Designs’ staff thrill in helping with the perfect find. Providing excellent customer service has always been a priority.
The Slifer Designs’ Showroom offers frequently changing vignettes, luxurious homegoods and accessories for him, her and the home.
Over the years, the look and feel of the Showroom has changed but the staff’s dedication to excellent customer service has not, explains Showroom manger, Lisa Mikels. “It is always our priority to provide the best customer experience,” Lisa says. “We love working with our long-standing repeat clients but enjoy meeting new clientele, as well.”
Slifer Designs has been participating in Vail Valley Partnership’s Platinum Service Award program since 2003. Scores for excellent customer service are based on VVP’s Secret Shopper Program, where customers ask the unsuspecting, but highly trained, sales staff myriad questions. The staff is ranked by the shopper on knowledge, friendliness and professionalism – additionally the store itself is ranked on desirability and appearance.
“I am so proud of the Showroom staff for winning this award again this year,” Yvonne Jacobs, president, said. “Our team strives to be the best and provide the best customer service.”
Out of almost 70 secret shopper participating shops, only a handful garner the Platinum Level customer service award! Aiding in the Platinum Service Award is the fact that many of the sales team has been with Slifer Designs for years – some for decades. Experience the platinum service yourself – Slifer Designs changes its Showroom vignettes weekly, incorporating seasonal pieces, artwork, furnishings and accessories into the décor. Shoppers can leave with a small part of the vignette or purchase the room in its entirety.
